Integrate of Construction and Building Materials Business

Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (MCC; Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Masayuki Waga) integrated the businesses and group companies detailed below, into its group company Mitsubishi Chemical Infratec Co., Ltd. (MCIT; Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo) effective April 1, 2020, in a move to strengthen its construction and building materials business.

1. Businesses and group companies to be integrated into MCIT Businesses

- Businesses -
• Functional Moldings and Composites ( Aluminum Composite Materials ( ALPOLIC ), Plastic Film-laminated Steel Sheets, Industrial Plates, Polycarbonate Sheets, Urethane Materials, Rain Gutters, etc. )
• Acrylic Sheets, SHINKOLITE™ series (domestic business)

- Group companies -
• Alpolic Co.
• Ryobi Techno, Inc.

2. Purpose of integration

MCC aims to further expand its business by generating synergy through shared utilization of material development capabilities, plastic molding and composite technologies, and so on built up by each company and by offering a one-stop construction and building materials solution service from materials to molded and processed products.
